HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER FOR MICROSOFT CSP PRODUCTS

1. NEW CUSTOMER SIGN-UP:

1.  Go to website:  https://store.dac.co.za

2.  Select "Sign-up"

3.  Enter your information such as name, surname, email address, password, confirm password. Then select sign-up.

4.  You will receive an email to the address that was filled in earlier. 

5.  To complete the sign-up, click the link or copy it into a browser.

This will complete the sign-up process and you will be shown the window below. 

2. CUSTOMER LOGIN:

1.  To login to the webstore go to website: https://store.dac.co.za

2.  Select "Login"

3.  Enter your email address and password used in the sign-up. Upon successful entry you will be logged into the store. 

4.  You can select “Forgot Password” link to reset your account password and access your account.  

3.  CUSTOMER PURCHASE: (New Customer without Microsoft Tenant)

1.  Browse to any Microsoft product using any of the below options. 

2.  Once you have selected a product you will see the product details page.

3.  Here you will need to select the relevant offer for your purchase. 

4.  You can adjust the quantity of licenses that you require. 

5.  Once you have confirmed the correct offer and quantity you can select "Add to Cart." The item will be added to your cart. You can add additional items to your cart or proceed to checkout. 

6.  To begin checkout process, move your mouse over the cart then select the "View Cart" option. 

7.  These are the details of your shopping cart and you can begin the checkout process. 

At this stage you are required to create your new tenant or select from an existing tenant (covered later in this document) 

3.1 NEW MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 TENANT CREATION PROCESS

1.  Select "Create New Customer" option. This will setup the tenant on Microsoft. 

2.  Add a name you wish to use for your tenant ID. PLEASE do not use .co.za or .com in the name. Note: This is only for identification purposes and is not the primary or custom domain that is used for email and login. 

3.  Select "Validate" and this will begin a search to confirm the tenant ID name is available for you to use. 

4.  Once the tenant has been validated you can enter the customer details that are required. 

5.  The tenant you created will now be under Microsoft Customer. Select the tenant and select "Save" to proceed. 

6.  From here you can select "Continue Shopping" to purchase additional services or "Secure Checkout" to begin the payment process. 

3.2 PAYMENT PROCESS

Dependent on the store, credit or credit card payments will be enabled. 

1. Select "Secure Checkout" to begin payment process.

2.  Complete the required fields marked by a red * . Select "PayU" for credit card and "Credit Limit" if your store has credit available. 

3.  PayU payment: Users will be redirected to the following page. Complete the required fields as displayed below.

Select "Save and Pay."

4.  You will then see the following. 

5.  The store will display the following.  

6.  You will also receive an email with the order confirmation to your registered email. 

4.  ACCESSING YOUR NEW TENANT

1.  To access you newly created Microsoft tenant please check your registered email address for an email as shown below. 

2.  Your login details to the tenant are included in the email with a temporary password. This temporary password must be changed immediately to a permanent password.

3.  Once the information is filled in select "Sign in."

4.  You will then be logged in and directed to your office 365 admin portal. 

5.  CREATE A NEW USER

Now we create a new user and assign a license. 

1.  Navigate to My account, select "Manage Subscriptions," then select "Microsoft."

2.  Here you will see your tenant saved earlier. Expand the company name (Select the "+" sign) and select "Microsoft."

3.  Select "Users & Licenses" then select "Create User." Note the admin account is created by default to login and access the tenant. 

4.  Enter the user information in the required fields as shown below. Select "Create" to confirm. 

5.  From here you can select the "Gear Icon" and select "Assign license" to apply the Microsoft product to this user. 

6.  You will also receive an email to your registered email containing the login credentials. 

6.  CHANGE SUBSCRIPTION LICENSE COUNT

1.  Navigate to My account, select "Manage Subscriptions," then select "Microsoft."

2.  Here you will see your tenant. Expand the company name (Select the "+" sign) and select "Microsoft."

3.  Select the "Gear Symbol" next to the subscription, select "Increase" or "Decrease."

4.  Use the arrow keys or type in the number of licenses you wish to add or remove then select "Save."

7.1  SUSPEND MICROSOFT CSP SUBSCRIPTION

1.  Navigate to "My account," select "Manage Subscriptions," then select "Microsoft."

2.  Select the "Gear Symbol" next to the subscription.

3.  Select "Suspend" and your subscription will be suspended. 

7.2 SUSPEND RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION

1.  Navigate to My account, select "Manage Subscriptions," then select "Kaspersky."

2.  Locate the order number and select the "+" sign to expand. 

3.  Select the "Gear Icon" and choose the "Cancel" option.  

4.  You will then note that the status will change from ready to cancelled. 

8.  NEW CUSTOMER WITH EXISTING TENANT

Should you already have a Microsoft tenant it is required to establish a reseller relationship to complete the first order. The following process is followed to add your tenant. 

 

During the order process you will be brought to this screen as mentioned earlier.

1.  In this case you will select "Request" a reseller relationship.

2.  You can either select the link or copy it to a new browser tab or window.  

3.  The link above will bring up this screen. Please note you will need to sign in as global administrator for your tenant. 

4.  Select tick box to agree to the terms of service then select "Authorize CSP reseller relationship."

5.  The following window will display when the process is completed, you can then select "Close."

6.  To confirm you can view this screen (you may have to select more-> refresh).

7.  Return to the tab with the create a relationship request. Add your company name as tenantname.onmicrosoft.com, select "Submit."

8.  You will receive the green bar at the top, select "Return." You may now continue to place your order. 

9.  You will be redirected to this screen. You can proceed with your order by moving your mouse over cart and selecting "View Cart."

10.  You can now select your tenant from the dropdown list, select save

11.  Select "Secure Checkout" to begin the payment process and complete the order. 

12.  Your registered email will also receive this notice as confirmation of the reseller relationship request. 

9.  CREATE A MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 TRIAL PURCHASE

1.  Locating the trial offerings is easily done from the home page and selecting "Vendors."

2.  Select "Microsoft" from the list of vendors.

3.  Select "View Trial Offers."

4.  You can then choose from the trial offerings available by selecting "View Offers."

5.  From The dropdown list select the trial offering. 

6.  Select "Start Free Trial"

7.  Select one of the following options if… 

 "Use existing account" – Your Microsoft tenant has been

    added to the store, select your tenant from the drop-

    down list. 

•  "Create new Microsoft account" – You do not have a

    Microsoft tenant and have not yet added it to the store. 

•  "Request a reseller relationship" – You do have an

    existing Microsoft tenant however, you have not yet 

    added the tenant to the store. 

Then select "Submit."

8.  Please check your registered store email address for the following email. 

9.  Your trial offering will now be available to assign licenses to end users, via the store or Microsoft tenant. 

9.1 CONVERT TRIAL TO PAID SUBSCRIPTION

1.  Navigate to "My account," select "Manage Subscriptions," then select "Microsoft."

2.  Select "Convert Trial to Paid Subscription" before the end of your trial period in order to retain the services.

3.  Complete the information in the spaces as shown below.

Please note to specify your subscription quantity, as well as

monthly or annual billing. 

4.  Select "Proceed."

For credit card transactions you will be redirected to a payment gateway. 

5.  Your trial will then be converted to a paid subscription.

You will see the screen below and the process is now complete. 

9.2 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 TRIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS

Q: Can a customer have more than one free trial? 

A: Each customer is entitled to one free trial per available offer. 

 

Q: Are there any minimum requirements for a free trial? 

A: Yes. The trial defaults to 25 licenses, which cannot be changed during the trial period. Once the trial converts to a paid subscription, the license count can be increased. 

 

Q: Does the free trial automatically convert to a paid subscription? 

A: No. You’ll need to convert the subscription yourself, or via our webstore. 

 

Q: Will the subscription start date be based on the date the free trial starts, or the date it’s converted to a paid subscription?  

A: If the free trial is converted to a paid offer with annual billing, the subscription renewal date will be twelve months from the conversion date. If the free trial is converted to a paid offer with monthly billing, the subscription renewal date will be twelve months from the billing date following the conversion date. 

 

Q: Can trials be extended? 

A: No. After 30 days, the trial must either be converted, or it will expire. 

 

Q: When a trial expires, can the information in the trial be accessed? 

A: Yes. The data is stored in line with data retention standards, so if a partner wishes to purchase a new subscription with the same service plans, the data can be accessed from the newly activated subscription.
