FlowCentric is a tool that creates workflow controls from your business processes and your business rules. The rules and processes are defined in an intuitive graphical based suite (including using standard Visio diagrams). A process is everything that one does in a business and processes rely on people to effectively execute that process. Any one process might be waiting for someone to complete the previous process. So, defining the process carefully and giving the right instructions and tools to complete the task is critical to process efficiency and thus competitive advantage. The ability to remind someone via a variety of communication tools (e-mail, SMS, to-do lists) that they have a process to complete, and the ability to escalate to someone else after a time-out period, is critical to remove bottle-necks in a companies procedures.
